BRAND APPROVALS

EC Scott Group prides itself on offering a portfolio of best-in-class brands across the beauty category. Manufacturer approval is required before purchasing most of our fragrance and beauty brands. Please contact your regional account manager with questions regarding specific brand approval procedures.


 

RESELLER AGREEMENT

By conducting business with EC Scott Group, the Retailer has agreed to the EC Scott Group Account Terms & Conditions outlined below. Any violation of these policies may result in immediate closure of your Account.

  • Authorized Place of Resale: The Retailer will not sell EC Scott Group products outside of the agreed upon retail place of business. Agreed upon retail place of business - appropriate state resale documentation at time of application. The Retailer will not resell EC Scot Group Brands to any diverter or redistributors of products. The Retailer will not remove, obliterate or tamper with any codes applied to EC Scott Group brand products.
  • 3rd Party Platforms: EC Scott Group, and the brands we represent, regularly monitor all 3rd party sites for violations. Selling on 3rd Party websites, including but not limited to, Amazon.com, Ebay.com, Walmart.com, Jet.com, Sears.com, Google.com, Bing.com and Yahoo.com, is not permitted without written approval. The Retailer agrees to provide Distributor with a complete list of the names and contact information of all the Affiliates and Aliases used by the Retailer to sell EC Scott Group brands. The Retailer must immediately inform the Distributor of any new Affiliates or Aliases.
  • Authentic Goods: EC Scott Group is the exclusive, authorized distributor for almost all of the brands in our portfolio, in the Specialty, Independent Retail Channel in the United States. EC Scott Group can only guarantee that an account is receiving authentic goods if they purchase from EC Scott Group. If an account chooses to purchase any EC Scott Group brands from an un-authorized source, we cannot guarantee authentic goods and reserve the right to cease distribution of the brand in question.

 

MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICING POLICY: BRICK-AND-MORTAR AND ONLINE RETAILERS

EC Scott Group would like to reinforce that all retailers respect the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Pricing established by each manufacturer. This applies to both brick 'n' mortar stores as well as associated websites of retailers and resellers of any of the brands that we represent. All locations of a parent retailer as well as accounts that sell product beyond their retail or associated website locations must follow these pricing policies.

Per our agreement with and direction from our Manufacturing Partners, EC Scott Group reserves the right to suspend distribution or limit quantity offered of any brand to any retailer that offers and advertises any product(s) below the MSRP.


 

RETURN POLICY

All returns must have prior approval from an EC Scott Group Sales Representative. When requesting a return please provide the invoice #, UPC's and quantities of each item, and the reason for return.

If approved, please note the following:

  • Before product is returned, you must first receive an RMA # from EC Scott Group's Customer Service. All returns must be executed within 30 days of the issuance of the RMA #.
  • Product must arrive back to EC Scott Group's warehouse be in re-sellable condition in its original packaging in order to receive credit.
  • No returns will be accepted if the product has price tags or stickers on the packaging.
  • Credit will be generated once products have been inspected and received back into inventory.
  • Some RMA's are subject to a 10% restocking fee. This will be discussed with your EC Scott Group Sales Representative prior to the issuance of a RMA #
  • Return shipping paid by customer. RMA # must be printed on each box returned to EC Scott Group.

Please note that EC Scott Group's return policy supersedes any previous return policy a customer may have had directly with a supplier. Please also note that EC Scott Group does not accept the return of an account's customer returns.


 

SHORTAGES/DAMAGES

In the event you receive product that has been damaged in shipping, please note the following:

  • Contact either your EC Scott Group Sales Representative or EC Scott Group Customer Service within 10 days of receipt with the invoice #, items and quantities damaged.
  • Photos of the shipping box, as well as damaged product must be submitted.
  • An RMA and return label will be provided to you once approved.
  • Damaged product must be returned to the warehouse within 30 days of the issuance of a RMA to receive credit.
  • If you use your own carrier for shipping, EC Scott Group is not responsible for any damages once the product leaves our warehouse.
